KNOW YOUR BRUSHES

Updated: Jul 13, 2020

Hey guys, welcome to my blog. In today's topic i'll be talking about a few of our makeup brushes. I hope by the end of this post we'll be more informed on our makeup brushes.

TYPES OF MAKEUP BRUSHES

  • THE FOUNDATION BRUSH

  • THE CONCEALER BRUSH

  • THE SPOOLIE OR MASCARA BRUSH

  • THE MAKEUP SPONGE OR BEAUTY BLENDER

THE FOUNDATION BRUSH.

Foundation brushes are probably the most important among all makeup brushes. True? Not quite. Most people use foundation brushes to just apply the product generously on their face but when it comes the blending the product to make it look as flawless as ever they prefer a beauty blender. i personally prefer applying and blending out my foundation with a beauty blender. I find it easier and more ideal.

THE CONCEALER BRUSH

So guys it might interest you to know that amongst all makeup brushes I love love love concealer brushes.

My love for the brushes aside, concealer brushes are used to clean up the brow with, you guessed right, the concealers cause, duh, it's in the name.

it's also used to conceal the under eye area, areas of the faces with blemishes on the face. Also, it's used to highlight the high points of the face.

THE SPOOLIE OR MASCARA BRUSH

The spoolie brush is best kept for brows. On one end of a spoolie you have a mascara wand like brush. you use this end to shape or brush your brows in place, as well as distribute pigments after filling in.

This brush can also be used to seperate the lashes and remove mascara clumps.

THE MAKEUP SPONGE OR BEAUTY BLENDER

Makeup beauty sponges are the best ever tool for applying makeup. the beauty blenders can be used the blend out foundations, concealers etc. Use the pointed end to work into depressed areas of the face and the round end for all other areas.
